Castor Oil Wrap- Handmade in the USA & 100% Organic

An easy and mess-free way to get the amazing benefits of castor oil. These are handmade in the USA and are 100% organic. They are designed for the liver and pelvis area. Supporting your body with castor oil may improve thyroid function, decrease menstrual symptoms (breast tenderness, heavy periods, clots, painful periods, PMS, spotting), help with sleep, help with digestion, constipation, and help with acne. "There are several wraps on the market that you can buy but the reason I decided to create my own is because most of them are sourcing direcly from china (who even knows what material and chemicals are on them) and then marking the product up to ridiculous prices. If you have purchased or worked with me in the past, you know I take a few things very seriously: quality, organic, fair price, chemical free and sourced from the USA and I will never budge from these standards. 

My dear friends Emily and Kris handsew  these wraps in Aiken SC with 100% organic materials and get paid enough for each wrap that they can be at home with their kids as much as they want to! As we begin to sell more wraps my mission is to hire more stay at home moms/women in Aiken to give them work from home opportunities!

There is a soft inner hypoallergenic layer that will lay against your skin that is made with 100% organic cotton flannel. The outer layer is made with waterproof organic PUL material and even the stretchy straps are organic! You can wear these secure wraps for an hour or all night without any mess or staining of your clothes and sheets!"

The dimensions of the cloth wrap are 10x18 not including the stretchy straps. It can stretch up to 66" in diameter making it universal for the vast majority of people. For children or smaller frames you simply wrap the straps around until it fits snug on your body, for larger bodies you don't need to wrap the straps all the way around, just simply tie at your comfort level.

Please note that castor oil will stain clothing, sheets and anything it comes in contact with. Even if you put your wrap in the washer it will stain everything in your washing machine (Ask me how I know 🥴) 

Menstruation: Castor Oil Packs can be worn during your period. However, if it’s your first time doing a Castor Oil Pack, wait until the end of your period to begin, otherwise you may experience more intense period cramps. After regular usage there is no issue with doing your pack on your period. Often many practitioners note that your period improves with a regular Castor Oil Pack practice.

Pregnancy: Castor Oil Packs should not be used during pregnancy.

Postpartum during breastfeeding: You may want to wait until you’ve finished breastfeeding since it can help aid in detoxing your body.

Applying a Castor Oil Pack

Use 1-2 tbsp of organic cold pressed castor oil over the area of your skin you plan to place the wrap (always do a patch test first to make sure you are not sensitive to castor oil). Place the castor oil wrap on the target area and tie it into place, it's that simple. Optionally, you can place a hot water bottle or heating pad over it for warmth. The heat helps in the absorption of castor oil through the skin and enhances its therapeutic effects. If you don't want to use additional heat, no worries. Our wraps are designed to hold in body heat and apply the same effect. 

Duration of Application

A castor oil pack should typically be left on for a minimum of 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your tolerance. It's advisable to start with shorter durations and gradually increase as your body becomes accustomed to the treatment. You can work up to wearing it all night long if tolerated. 

Cleaning Up After Using a Castor Oil Pack

After use, remove the pack and cleanse the skin with a mixture of baking soda and water to remove any residual oil. Store the pack in the bag it comes in, and if you keep it in the refrigerator it will last longer. Typically around 3 months if using our wraps nightly. 

To clean the wrap: Never wash in the washing machine because the castor oil will stain everything in there with it, and you would also damage the wrap. If you wear it over night, in the morning, hand wash with water and natural dish soap, then wring it out very well. Take an old towel (that you don't mind staining) and lay the outer layer of the pack against it. Roll the pack up in the tea towel, blotting out the oil until there is a little oily residue left on the outer layer. Hang to dry."
